Pokhara and some new friends

Time seems to collapse in here. I just noticed that I promised to come up soon with the pictures from Pokhara but week has gone and nothing is done... But here I am again. So this story is going to be in english, because our audience is getting bigger and even though I have noticed that many foreign people have intuitive knowledge about finnish, everyone dont have it and this time our story is going to be in english. Mum and dad, try to cope with this and ask some help from your kiddoes.

For the first time we are really getting to warmer hoods. Spring is starting to show up here in Pokhara. Days are getting warmer and warmer, even hot and you dont have to feel cold anymore during any time of the day. Pokhara is so pleasant place to be that I really feel I could get stuck in here for a longer time. After Kathmandus huge pollution and noise the air is totally fresh, around us you can see a lake and the whole Annapurna range and in the backyards from the buddhist center we are staying, the jungle begins. The town is relatively small, around size of Oulu (120 000 people) and the tourist area of Ladeside is really calmed down for the tourists, which feels a little bit ackward. Do people really want to see Nepal or just have a grounded area just for themselfs with the things and desires they wish? Well, I have to admit, the Ladeside area is beautiful and peaceful and tourism has a big role for Nepal economy.

For the first couple of days we stayed in another guesthouse in the southside of Lakeside. When our bus arrived the welcoming reception was something awful. Around twenty five taxi drivers and hostel keepers surrounded the group of tired passengers offering everything you wish to hear. Well I didnt want to hear anything, just get going and find a hostel by myself but Konsta is always so polite that cant get rid of offerings. Finally one man sed to me that you wont get rid of the people unless you just leave and say nothing. And we did it. But the man was wise. After a while he camed beside us with a huge bicycle (the man was so tiny that the bicycle looked huge) and what else, offered us a room from the hostel! Price was good and man quite clever so we took it. Man appeared to be called Gavi and was really relaxed and nice guy. Teached us how to play japanese "rhytm fruits", I dont know how they are really called and even offered to his guests free smoke. Bearable. Before signing in for the meditation course, days in Kiwi guesthouse were really relaxed.

Finally, I found a first place were I could study some meditation and yoga and could even afford the course. We had four days course in the Ganden Yiga Buddhist Center. During the day we had meditation, hatha yoga, teacing about buddhism and discussion groups. Our teacher was and is still wonderful and inspiring monk Jefe (im not sure if im spelling the name right ). Jefe comes from USA and has been monk now for six years. The course was designed for westerners so time was really pleasant and I had lots of new ideas and inspiration to my way. Jefe recommended for the next step the ten day course of meditation in Bodhgaya, India. This ten day course is a little bit harder. You are not allowed to speak for the whole time or take any kind of connection to others (even eye connection is not allowed) and the whole time of the day is meditation. Food is really simple and needy. I think this time will be very teaching and challenging.

For the last few days I have been in touch with our new little fellows. The nasty bacteria of Nepal that I cant cooperate with. Or my stomich wont. So no eating for two days, only sitting in the toilet seat and throwing up after trying to eat something. Today we are taking our crab\shit\pootests and get to know how evil our pets are. It can come everywhere, food, drink, your fingers, the washing water in the dishes, cant know. But have to admit, we havent been so careful with the food and drinks. Mine came suddenly and hard with fever, but Konsta has had the problem a little more smoother for a week. Feel a little bit week now and then, but otherwise same as usual, louzy jokes and too much chocolate.

Have to start now my big journey to the center to get some money. Here I am sitting in the internet and dont actually have money with me to pay the internet, but the woman was nice and said I can come back to pay. If some sentences in this story seem a little bit strange, try to solve out the more rational meaning. I have noticed, my english is pretty weird sometimes. Im mixing words and really confusing people. I have been talking in the course how one woman invented the dead process, I cant conceive email to my box, how trees actually have wooms! Well, Im learning! Everything good for all of you around the world. I have done some serious meditation for you in the last six days! Will all the happiness and love be with you. Like it says in the end of the feedback paper we had to fill in the end of the course, may all the beings be happy!

With the big luuv, Eini

Heippa! Lämpimässähän ne bakteerit muhii. Jos vain voi, niin välttäkää kraanavettä (jääkuutiot)ja maitotuotteita. Kaikki kunnolla lämmitetty lienee syötävää/juotavaa. JP

Hassu teksti oli tuolta Kaamosasiapilleistä. Äiti ei kuulemma ollut kirjttanut sitä. Ihmettelinkin, että onko sille tullut tosi paha lukihäriö. :D
